Uke Planet is a collaborative effort run by two long time best friends, Grant and myself, Chris.
This site was born shortly after I decided to finally get a ukulele after years of Grant’s insisting.
In my earliest days, I spent time digging around online and realized that I couldn’t find the answers to a lot of the questions I had.
Thankfully, I had a long time player in Grant to seek out advice from, and have all my questions answered. But it left me wondering if others would appreciate having a lot of the questions I had answered for them as well.
It took me all of about two seconds to convince Grant to start this site with me, and the rest as they say is history.
Our aim in creating this site was to add value to the plethora of resources available online by paying extra attention to the many questions that beginner to intermediate players have but often are forgotten by more advanced players.
Nearly every post on this site is the process and/or end result of my beginner journey combined with Grant’s wealth of knowledge and experience.
